Challenge

In 2014 chilled flatbread producer Crust & Crumb had just opened their second site. Now they wanted to move beyond the Irish market to secure volume. We were ideally placed to support, with our UK base and experience in the chilled convenience category.

Approach

We consistently support Crust & Crumb using category insights and our commercial experience and network to help them explore and secure new customers. Our category research has enabled them to justify major investment decisions at key times – whether to enter new categories such as tortilla wraps, or to add further factory capability and capacity.

Outcome

Today Crust & Crumb products can be found in an enviable cross-section of retailers in the UK. They opened their fourth factory in 2021 to meet soaring demand.
