Showcasing Scotland

24th July 2017

The 3rd Showcasing Scotland event is due to take place in Gleneagles in October. This UK and international ‘Meet the Buyer’ type event for Scottish food and drink companies has proved very successful in previous years. Showcasing is delivered by Scotland Food & Drink, Scottish Development International, supported by Scottish Government, Scottish Enterprise and Highlands & Islands Enterprise.

Over 160 Scottish Food & Drink companies have signed up to take part in this year’s event and Levercliff were delighted to have been awarded the contract to provide support to these companies as they prepare for their buyer meetings. As part of this support, we have just delivered a series of Workshops in Glasgow, Inverness, Aberdeen and Perth. The workshops were designed to give a flavour for each of the markets where buyers will be coming from, as well as latest consumer trends insights and how they should be preparing for October.

The next stage of the support programme will be the delivery of 13-14 different webinars in August. These will look at each market in more detail and provide information on some of the buyers attending Showcasing, before we move onto supporting companies individually pull together their buyer pitches.
