Fintan has spent his career working in senior commercial roles with leading food companies such as Glanbia, ABN, and Bakkavor and has worked closely with nearly all of the major multiple retailers in the UK. While at Levercliff, he has spearheaded Levercliff’s transformation from a marketing specialist to business consultancy offering a wider range of services to the food and drink sector. A commercial expert, Fintan specialises in working with companies on strategic business planning and business development whilst also leading public sector programmes for Welsh Government Food Division, Scottish Enterprise and Bord Bia (Irish Food Board).
Clodagh has worked with food and drink companies of all sizes including ABP, Linden Foods, Keoghs, Celtic Pure, Llaeth y Llan, across a wide range of sectors for over 25 years. With a Master’s Degree in Marketing, she specialises in working with companies to develop growth strategies through market and consumer insight. Clodagh also leads on strategic research projects for public sector agencies such as Bord Bia (Irish Food Board), Invest NI and Welsh Government Food Division.
With over 25 years of business experience working across a wide variety of UK food sectors and markets, Will has held senior roles in Marketing, Category Management, Operations and General Management for businesses such as Premier Foods and Baxter Foods. Latterly, he has worked as a consultant on several projects supporting SMEs across Scotland, Wales, Ireland and Northern Ireland, upskilling them in their commercial expertise and business plans.
Mark spent over 22 years working at Tesco and his experience includes in-store operations and commercial buying. During his final 5 years, he was responsible for managing the commercial operation for Wales. Since 2014, Mark developed the Food Category Strategy at the National Procurement Service, covering all aspects of public sector food spend across Wales. He has been with Levercliff since 2016 and assists clients in preparation for meeting trade buyers and helping to shape their product offering and activity.
Senior Insights Manager.
Duncan has been with Levercliff for more than 13 years and specialises in strategic market insight and data analysis. With a Diploma in Marketing in addition to his BSc, he is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and has researched virtually every food and drink category you can imagine. This has led to Duncan acquiring a wealth of knowledge that can be used to deliver genuine and meaningful insights to clients.
Tammie joined Levercliff in 2016 with several years of experience in retail management as well as sales and marketing roles in the pharmaceutical sector. In addition, she has experience of running her own online business. Tammie uses her considerable marketing and communication skills to support the Levercliff team and to raise awareness of its services and achievements through all available channels.
Miquel has worked within the food and drink industry for over 5 years. With a Degree in Business Studies and a Master’s Degree in Economics, he specialises in market research and business consultancy. Before joining Levercliff, Miquel performed different commercial roles, including the management of a grocery retail outlet.
Business Development Manager.
Although she only joined the Levercliff team in 2017, Catherine has more than 18 years experience of working in the UK food and drink industry, where she has held a number of senior management roles. These have been across a variety of food sectors and her positions have encompassed national sales, business development and account management. Catherine’s proven track record with both suppliers and retailers, demonstrates her ability to maximise opportunities for her clients and secure the best results on their behalf.
Lauren joined the business in 2017 as an Insights Analyst, having worked since her graduation in the power tool industry. With a BA in English Literature from Bangor University, Lauren has previously worked in marketing and e-commerce and brings strong problem solving and critical analysis skills to the team. Levercliff are delighted to play their part in introducing new entrants such as Lauren to the food and drink industry.
Ruth has 20 years of marketing, branding and strategy experience in food and beverages in developed and emerging markets.
In a career that has included working with global corporates such as Britvic, Johnson & Johnson, and PZ Cussons and more recently SME’s and Sole Traders, Ruth has built a strong skillset including: new product entry strategy, identifying new opportunities for New Product Development (NPD) pipelines, roadmaps for international expansion, new market entry strategy, branding and corporate strategy.
Recent assignments Ruth has tackled have included industry mapping and benchmarking, market evaluation, 2–5 year business planning, category management, assessment and application to portfolio business opportunities, and the prioritisation of growth and business initiatives.
Joining Levercliff in 2018, Clair has over 17 years of experience working in research and insight across a broad range of sectors including financial services and homewares. With an MRS Diploma in Market Research, she is also a full member of The Market Research Society. Having spent the majority of her career on the client-side, Clair is focused on delivering practical and meaningful insights to clients.
Since completing her Food Marketing and Business Economics degree at Reading University in 2015, Louise has been pursuing her career in the food industry on the MDS graduate scheme. This involved secondments to a variety of different food businesses including The Fruit Firm, G’s Fresh, Aldi and Kynetec, thus providing her with great experience and exposure to a variety of working environments within the food industry such as Fresh Produce, Multiple Retailing, and Consultancy. Louise joined Levercliff in 2018 to focus on Food & Drink marketing and is an exciting addition to the team.
David joined the Levercliff team in 2018. A true food lover, David has worked in marketing roles covering the entire food chain. He has worked for companies including Whole Foods Market, Matthew Algie Coffee Roasters and most recently, Baxters Food Group. David holds a Masters in Gastronomy in addition to a BA (Hons) Food Product Development. His specialisms include using insight to inform brand strategy, category management, new product development and business turnaround
