Challenge

Food & Drink Wales set an ambitious vision: to make Welsh food & drink the most sustainably produced in the world. The Sustainability Cluster’s priority is to work closely with producers to embed sustainable practices across Wales’ agri-food industry.

Approach

Since 2020, Levercliff has led the Sustainability Cluster with an inclusive, collaborative model - bringing together producers, academia, and external experts in energy, waste, and supply chain. We also engage support bodies offering funded assistance to accelerate change.

Outcome

The Sustainability Cluster now recruits over 130 members, driving collective action on key sustainability issues. It has become a trusted forum for knowledge-sharing, innovation, and practical solutions, helping Welsh food & drink businesses progress toward Net Zero goals.
